Friday Favourites [September 2015]

Happy Friday guys! Can I get an 'amen' that we made it to another Friday and you know what that means?! 

We are one week closer to Christmas! Too soon?? #sorrynotsorry :)

So, as you can tell by the title today's post is going to be a Friday Favourites post! I'm going to do these on the last Friday of every month and sort of recap the month and what things I have been loving. I'd love to hear what you guys have been loving for the past month so be sure to leave your favourites in the comment section below, or link me your Friday Favs post if you blog! I love having new things to try out and hopefully love as much as you guys do!

Starbucks debuted the cutest cups. I mean they are literally fall on a cup. I am obsessed. I know that they just came out like 2 days ago, which means they weren't my favourite for the "month" but they are just too dang cute to not include and I am way too obsessed with Starbucks to not make this my number 1 favourite. I mean they don't compare to the beloved red cup, but they are a really close second. 

I mean how cute... fall in a cup.

While we're on the topic of Starbucks... I have been treating myself to a few way too many really bad for me but so delicious hot drinks. I mean the PSL is back, how can one resist... And the salted caramel mocha is like SO good. It beats the PSL and pretty much everything else on the Starbucks menu, in my opinion. I usually try to just drink iced teas as I trick myself into thinking that they are way better for me than anything else Starbucks offers, but in the fall (and winter) I can't resist a good hot drink off the menu. Today I also tried the new graham latte... liquid s'mores. Yes. Please.

When I was in Boston this past August, I picked up not one, but two, pairs of Converse and let me tell you. They are basically the only shoes I've worn for the month of September. I love them so much that I picked up a third pair one day when I was at the mall a couple weeks ago. I now have way too many (five) pairs of Converse and I am not even a little bit ashamed. 

One Tree Hill is, hands down, without a doubt, the greatest show to ever be on tv. If you haven't watched it, 1) WHY NOT, and 2) call in sick to work for the next week because you have to binge watch it now. Anyway, this favourite isn't OTH, although that is an added bonus from me to you. :) I love each and every one of the actresses and actors on the show that whenever they are in a new movie/show I check it out. Sophia Bush was cast in this new crime drama (can it get any better? My fav OTH actress in a crime show... I think not). My mom and I immediately became obsessed with this show and thus my Chicago PD obsession began. I'm putting this show in my favourites for this month because season 3 starts on Wednesday... so that gives you exactly five days to binge watch the first two seasons this weekend in preparation for the season premiere (and don't forget to watch all 9 seasons of OTH while you're at it!). 

I mean, come on, how good does this premiere look...

All summer I had my nails painted white and I'm still obsessed. I think it looks so clean and chic, yet still fun and girly at the same time. My favourite white is "Blanc" by Essie. Takes two coats to cover and I don't even use a top coat! 

Ignore how much I suck at painting my nails. :)

My mom jumped on the iPhone bandwagon (finally!) and she signed up for Apple Music, but the family sharing one. I'll confess that I didn't really understand the hype for Apple Music, but now that I have it, I am loving it. Every song that you could ever want to listen to is literally at your fingertips. It's great. Don't forget to turn the "make available offline" feature on so you don't run up your data though!

The Wish Book officially means summer is over and we're moving in to the holiday season. I used to look through this catalogue for hours, writing up the biggest Christmas wish list after browsing through the pages and pages of toys! The toy section seems to be decreasing every year, and my Christmas wish list no longer consists of 8 Barbies, 3 new baby dolls, a Barbie house and a closet for my dolls, BUT you best believe it was still the first section I went to! Haha

And finally a super random favourite for you all... This month I have been obsessed with these pens by Frixion. They are super easy to write with, they flow really nicely and they are erasable. Like actually erasable. Not advertised as erasable but really just "leaves your page smudged, ripped and unable to be written on anymore". No. These pens really erase and I love them! Super random favourite but between my planner, school work and writing up blog post ideas, I've been using these pens a ton and making even more mistakes, but nobody would know because I can just erase it and write over top!

If you're looking for me this weekend, I'll be drinking a salted caramel mocha in my fall Starbucks cup, writing down future blog ideas with my erasable Frixion pen while binge watching Chicago PD in preparation for Wednesday night!
