Beach Meadows Beach [14.08.15]

Beach Meadows Beach was the beach on the South Shore of Nova Scotia that I grew up on. My grandparents cottage was a 30 second walk to the white sand beach and icy cold waves. This weekend I went back to visit it.

Seriously used to explore all of these rocks for hours.

When all that's left of the playground you used to play on as a child is an old swing set...

Exploring the "creek" used to be so fun... now it's just a dirty, mucky mess from the fisheries plant...

Going back and seeing things from your childhood is so depressing when it has all changed for the worst. The beach isn't as pretty as I remember, the playground is destroyed, and the water is dirty. Thankful for all of the memories I will have forever of this beautiful place and the amazing times spent here with my family.
